Who Are We | Office Furniture

Contract Furnishings Group, LLC was founded in 2006, by David B. Seibenick, llDA. David is professional member of the International interior Design Association. As an active participant in our local chapter, one of 31 chapters around the globe, we proudly represent the 3400 certified professional interior s in the IIDA association.

Our practicing members work locally in all areas if interior design including corporate, commercial, health care, education and hospitality and meet the highest standards of education, experience and examination.

Interior s are trained at one of several colleges or universities that offer recognized design programs across the country. Today’s requirement for professional interior design classification include the following; 2- 4 years coursework resulting in an I.D. degree plus 2 - 4 years internship with either an accredited interior design or architectural firm. Having completed these requirements, the candidate will now be eligible and required to take and pass the NCIDQ exam, (the National Council for interior Design Qualification).

Interior design is about more than just aesthetics. Its about finding creative design solutions for interior environments while supporting the health, safety and well being of occupants and enhancing their quality of life. Following a systematic and coordinated methodology of knowledge into the creative process, interior design is a multi-faceted profession whereby the needs and resources of the client are satisfied to create an interior space that fulfils the project goals.
